Yeasound Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yeasound ”, “we”) is committed to protecting your privacy. Your privacy is very important to Yeasound, therefore we have formulated this statement to explain how we collect, use, and process personal information. This privacy statement applies to the hearing aid fitting specialist software service provided by Yeasound, and it is different from the privacy policy on the Yeasound official website. 1. Information we collected
We collect your personal data in accordance with the legal basis for contract performance, your consent, or the requirements of medical device regulations. This personal data includes:
1.1 When you apply to create a YCF (Yeasound comfort fitting) account, you must provide us with a name, email address, and phone number. The email address you provide will be used to register your YCF account; Data, including: customer name, email address, age, gender, hearing diagnosis data (audiogram, hearing health data), fitting data, service record information (service record time, remarks), and hearing aid usage information (hearing aid model, version, SN, Bluetooth name, etc.).
1.3 When you select guest mode, the above customer profile data will only be stored locally on your PC, and we will not access or collect such data. You are responsible for ensuring device security and data protection.
1.4 Log Information: The YCF software automatically collects log information locally on the running PC by default, which may include anonymous device IPs, fault logs, system crash logs, software operation logs, etc. We only collect log information when the user actively provides feedback and explicitly agrees to upload logs; the log information we collect does not directly identify individuals and is only used to diagnose system errors and improve software performance.
2. How we use your personal information
2.1 We primarily use your personal information to provide you with services, and we may also interact with you to provide better services to users. For example:
Contract performance, delivery of products or services;
Create and manage user accounts;
We provide products and solutions that allow you to use certain features;
We will send you information, including information on customer satisfaction or marketing objectives.
If you choose to provide third-party personal information (such as name, email, and phone number) to Yeasound, it indicates that you have obtained permission from the third party. If you wish to refuse certain services we offer, such as sending you marketing messages, you can unsubscribe or contact us.

Yeasound will generally not share, transfer, or disclose your personal information, except in the following scenarios:
3.1 Yeasound may disclose information within the scope of your authorization to any third party designated by you;
3.2 We may disclose personal information among Yeasound's affiliated companies. We will only disclose your information among Yeasound's affiliated companies for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes, and will only disclose information necessary to provide the services. For example, to avoid duplicate registrations when registering an Yeasound account, we need to verify the uniqueness of the account to be registered;
3.3 Yeasound may need to disclose your personal information to the extent necessary, as required by applicable law or in response to formal legal proceedings. Furthermore, in certain transactions such as corporate restructuring, mergers, or liquidations, your personal information may be obtained by relevant parties to the extent legally permissible and necessary. Yeasound will strictly comply with relevant laws and privacy policies when handling such information.
3.4 Yeasound will also disclose your data when there is a reasonable need, such as for the performance of a contract or when we believe that disclosure is necessary and appropriate to prevent bodily harm or property damage or to investigate possible or actual illegal activities.

We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect our personal information and process it securely in accordance with this Privacy Statement. Yeasound implements physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your personal information from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. We also contractually require our suppliers to protect such information from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access.
5. Retention and processing of your personal information
We will retain your personal information as needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. When the purpose for which personal information was collected has been achieved, and there is no longer a legal or business need to retain such personally identifiable information, we will not retain the personal information in an identifiable form. Thereafter, the data will be destroyed, deleted, anonymized, and /or removed from our systems.

Generally, we will respond to you within 30 days, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Depending on the complexity of your request, we may extend the timeframe by an additional two months. In this case, we will notify you of the extension and its reasons within 30 days of receiving your request. For security reasons, you may be required to submit a written request, and we may request proof of identity. We will refuse your request if we reasonably believe that it is clearly unfounded or excessive, particularly due to its repetitive nature. If you still believe your rights have not been respected after contacting us, you may file a complaint with a regulatory body.
6.3 You may have the right to withdraw your consent under applicable law. However, withdrawal of consent will not affect the legality and validity of our processing of your personal data based on your consent prior to withdrawal, nor will it affect our processing of your personal data based on other appropriate legal grounds. Please note that depending on the scope of information you authorize us to process, this may result in your inability to continue enjoying Yeasound's products or services.

Our products and services are not intended for children, and we do not collect personal data from minors without their parental or guardian's consent. Upon receiving your notification or discovering that we have collected personal data from a child, we will delete such information as soon as possible.

Personal data collected and generated by Yeasound while operating outside the People's Republic of China will be stored on servers in the United States. You accept that we transfer and store data between regions in accordance with the above rules, otherwise you would not be able to use the existing official website. To ensure that the data we collect is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws, we will (i) enter into a data transfer agreement in accordance with the EU Model Agreement, a copy of which you can obtain by clicking here; (ii) adopt binding company rules; (iii) rely on legally determined exceptions (such as requesting your explicit consent); or (iv) adopt other mechanisms deemed to adequately protect your personal information.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and its amendments, including the California Privacy Act of 2020 (collectively known as the CCPA), California residents have specific rights regarding the collection, use, and sharing of their personal information by Yeasound.
