OTC Hearing Aids Yeasound RIC700 Plus

My Yeasound LADs (listening assist devices;) are a game changer. You can adjust volume individually as well as set a speech focus. Also works as bluetooth speakers and has phone call capabilities. This was not possible on my Ear go 6, and a fraction of the cost. I ask initial adjustment w a phone call to tech support but since then it’s been a very positive experience.

The item was exactly as described, brand new and still in sealed packaging. These hearing aids are great. They connect using the YeaSound app to your phone via BT. With the app you can control everything about them, including volume control for each individual ear. Important to me because I can hear better out of my right ear. I can hear many sounds I haven't heard in years. One example is I can hear the turn signal while driving. My wife no longer has to tell me to turn it off. Other important things are easy battery charging. You simply drop the hearing aids down into the little compartments in the pod and they start charging. No fumbling with anything to plug in the actual hearing aids. The pod has it's own internal battery and will charge up the hearing aids 8 times or more. After the pod runs down you can drop it into the charger for another week plus of charging. The charger uses a standard USB cord with a C plug, so again no connection as long as your USB cord is plugged in the charger. Just drop the pod into the charger. When connectd to your phone via BT every sound from your phone goes to your hearing aids. This is useful when using your phone and not disturbing anyone closeby, thereby eleminating the need for headphones. Oh, and another plus, you can make and receive phone calls while connected. The hearing aids sound settings consist of General, Noisy, and Streaming. General is the most often used setting. Noisy is useful too. I was in a crowded restaurant recently, and when I switched to noisy mode (noise cancelling) most of the background noise went away and I could hear people talking at our table. There are still some features I haven't explored yet, but I'm looking forward to using them. Whatever hearing aids you buy be sure it has BT connectivity. Don't let the low price fool you. I can't be certain, but I suspect the RIC700 plus is just as good as hearing aids costing thousands of dollars.

These were the first otc hearing aids that can be configured to an audiogram. My professional hearing aids are old. I have couple of otc hearing aids which are just amplifiers. So after trying these, I was amazed. First, these are just simple amplifiers out of the box. The aids require a mobile app that needs an account created. It then unlocks all the settings. The quality is not like my professional ones but close enough. If you do not want to spend so much on professional aids, these are great alternatives. Once you get your audiogram, the real personalization starts.

I have severe hearing loss due to family genetics, I purchased Phonak hearing aids 5 years ago that cost $6,000 that could be paired to my phone; however we live in a rural area & going into the office for adjustments was an hour drive each way. These hearing aids are much better & easier to use. Great value for the money. I did contact company for help in pairing these to my phone & had no further issues pairing them.

Working with Yeasound was so easy. It only took a couple of adjustments and my hearing aids are working great!My hearing is so much better now. I dreaded having to spend thousands and I'm so glad I found Yeasound!
