The YeaSound Limited Warranty applies to YeaSound products purchased directly from the YeaSound website (www.yeasound.com) and YeaSound official online platforms. Please note that devices purchased through retailers or partner online or offline must adhere to the specific policies of that retailer or partner.
II. Free Trial and Warranty Period
The standard warranty period for YeaSound products is one year from the date of purchase. The sales receipt serves as proof of purchase. If proof of purchase cannot be provided, the warranty period will be calculated from the product's manufacturing date (based on the product serial number).
We offer a 45-day trial period to help you get accustomed to your new hearing aids. This trial period is not mandatory; if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the hearing aids within 45 days of receipt for a full refund (excluding any discounts or coupons applied at purchase). YeaSound will cover the return shipping cost.
For customers who purchase from the Amazon Yeasound Direct Store, if you wish to return the product within the trial period specified by Amazon, please initiate the return request through the Amazon platform and follow their return process and timeline. If you need to return or exchange the hearing aids within the 45-day trial period but outside the platform's specified trial period, please contact YeaSound Direct Store through Amazon. Our after-sales service team will provide detailed return instructions.
For products purchased from YeaSound authorized dealers or retail partners, please follow the specific retailer's conditions.
Each customer automatically receives the Basic Plan from the original purchase date. YeaSound provides a one-year factory warranty and replacement service for all hearing devices and chargers purchased from YeaSound and its authorized third-party dealers. The Basic Plan includes free repair or replacement for defects caused by product quality issues. YeaSound reserves the right to inspect and decide whether to repair or replace the defective product. Damage not covered by the warranty (see “IV. Warranty Exclusions”) will incur repair and replacement costs. The standard repair fees are as follows:
• Minor Repairs: The applicable fee is $18. Minor repairs include product inspection, cleaning, replacement of wax guards, and ear tips. Customers need to pay for shipping, and YeaSound covers the return shipping.
• Major Repairs: The applicable fee is $45. Major repairs include battery door replacement, RIC wire replacement, PCBA replacement, component replacement, water damage, and shell damage. Customers need to pay for shipping, and YeaSound covers the return shipping.
The replacement fee for hearing aids is $307 per unit. Only one paid replacement opportunity is provided within the warranty period. YeaSound reserves the right to provide refurbished devices for replacement. The warranty period for the replacement hearing aid inherits the original device's warranty start date.
YeaSound offers a $66 protection plan that includes:
• Free repairs within the three-year warranty period. Damage not covered by the warranty (see “IV. Warranty Exclusions”) will incur repair and replacement costs. The standard repair fees are the same as the basic plan.
• Lower replacement fees: RIC700 replacement fee is $239 per unit. Only one paid replacement opportunity is provided within the warranty period.
IV. Out-of-Warranty Services
YeaSound provides repair or service for any YeaSound product within five years from the date of purchase. The service, repair, or replacement costs outside the warranty period will be borne by you.
YeaSound will prioritize product inspection and evaluation upon receiving the defective product to determine if it is within the repair scope and will send the bill and payment method to the customer’s email. We will not perform any work until we receive your approval and payment. YeaSound will begin repair work. Please note that we reserve the right to withhold the hearing aid until the repair fee is paid.
This limited warranty applies only to defects in materials and workmanship during normal use within the warranty period or defects on arrival (“DOA”). However, the limited warranty does not cover:
1. Products purchased from unauthorized dealers and/or resellers;
2. Products with the original serial number or MAC number removed, altered, or changed;
3. Situations where YeaSound installation, operation, or maintenance instructions were not followed;
4. Cosmetic damage due to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, color or surface differences, or any damage that does not affect the intended use of the product;
5. Any damage caused by using YeaSound products in conjunction with hardware, software, or facilities not provided by YeaSound (unless certified by YeaSound) or any damage resulting from such use;
6. Unauthorized product testing, modification, or alterations performed by non-YeaSound or non-YeaSound channel partners;
7. Abuse, misuse, negligence, or omissions by the customer or personnel under their control;
8. Damage caused by improper storage, transportation, or other human factors (such as collisions, fire, or water contact);
9. Damage caused by lightning, power surges, incorrect main voltage, power surges or outages, acts of God, war, or other hazards;
10.Consumable parts and wear parts without a serial number are not within the applicable product scope, unless considered DOA, including but not limited to the following items:
o USB cables
o Cleaning brushes
o Wax guards
o Ear Domes
o Wire sizing tools
o Others
VI. How to Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service, you can contact us through the following methods:
1. Visit the YeaSound AMS system (https://ticket.yeasound.com) to submit an application form. Our after-sales team will respond to return and replacement requests within 24 hours through the AMS system.
2. Customers who purchase products on e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon) can contact us directly on the platform. We will reply to your inquiry within 24 hours.
3. Make an appointment with our after-sales team on the YeaSound website (https://www.yeasound.com). The YeaSound professional team will provide one-on-one after-sales service at the appointment time.
4. Contact the customer support team via email: supportcenter@yeasound.com.
When applying for warranty service, you should provide:
1. The original packaging of the defective product;
2. Customer name, company name (if applicable), address, email address, and phone number;
3. Description of the quality issue and related pictures or videos;
4. Proof of purchase, including the purchaser’s name, address, purchase date, product type, and model.
We recommend using the hearing aids for at least three weeks during the trial period to adjust to your new hearing aids properly. This trial period is not mandatory; you can return the hearing aids within 45 days of purchase if you are not satisfied. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return the hearing aids within 45 days for a full refund (excluding any discounts or coupons applied at purchase). YeaSound will cover the return shipping cost. The 45-day trial period varies based on where you purchased the hearing aids and whether you are subject to specific retailer conditions.
If you purchased YeaSound products on Amazon and wish to return them within the free trial period (approximately 30 days), please initiate the return request through the Amazon platform. If you plan to return the product 31-45 days after purchase, please contact us through the YeaSound ticket system. Our after-sales team will send a UPS electronic return label and guide you to send it back to the designated address.
To obtain a refund, you need to contact us before 12:00 a.m. (EST) on the 45th day after purchase.
The 45-day trial period applies only once per original device. Each hearing aid is eligible for a refund only once, and the refund will not be credited to your credit card.
Please note that to obtain a full refund, you need to ensure that the returned hearing aids meet the following conditions:
• Must be in good condition (including all items in the original packaging).
• Must not be damaged, scratched, or soiled. Please ensure that the returned product and packaging are in good condition.
• The UPS return label number sent via email must be clearly displayed on the returned package. Returned products without a valid UPS return label number will be deemed non-compliant with return conditions and may be returned at your own expense.
• The package must be sent to the correct address provided by us.
If the returned hearing aids do not meet the above conditions, YeaSound reserves the right to charge for any missing accessories.
You will be responsible for any damage to the hearing aids caused during return shipping. We are not responsible for any loss or damage to the hearing aids during return shipping.
IX. Incorrect Wire Length
If you are still within the 45-day trial period and wish to replace the RIC wire due to incorrect size or quality defects, we offer free replacement and shipping services. The YeaSound product kit includes a pair of receiver wire sizing tools. Please refer to page 55 of the user manual to measure your wire size and contact the YeaSound team. We will send you a pair of new RIC wires for free. Please return the original RIC wires to the address provided by the YeaSound team. We reserve the right to charge for unreturned RIC wires.
X. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YeaSound shall not be liable for any incidental, special, punitive, indirect, or consequential damages, loss of profits or revenue, loss or damage to data, toll fraud, the cost of substitute goods or services. The total cumulative liability of both parties arising out of or in connection with all claims under this agreement shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the purchased product. The limitations of liability and cumulative liability cap in this section shall apply to any damages, regardless of their cause and any liability theory, whether in contract or tort (including but not limited to negligence). However, it does not apply in cases of intentional misconduct and personal injury.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. When implied warranties cannot be fully excluded, they will be limited to the applicable written warranty period. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Except as referenced and limited in this document, YeaSound and its licensors or suppliers make no express representations or warranties regarding any product. YeaSound does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product or that the product will prevent toll fraud. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, YeaSound disclaims all implied or statutory warranties, including but not limited to any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The warranty remedies explicitly provided in this document shall be the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies.
This limited warranty applies to all products sold under the YEASOUND brand and supersedes all earlier versions. If any provision of this limited warranty is held to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, the limited warranty shall not be unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provision shall be changed and interpreted to achieve the original provision's objectives to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
YeaSound is not responsible for any warranty, support, or maintenance commitments made by channel partners or other service providers. YeaSound reserves the right to modify or change this limited warranty at any time at its sole discretion, and this limited warranty shall not be construed as creating any contractual obligation for YeaSound to provide support to any specific customer, channel partner, or other service provider.
